What is motion in reality? In reality everyone knows what motion is! Look at someone walking; motion is real and not a concept of our mind. Even when sleeping we all move along the Earth around the sun!

Observation of motion... Physical Experimentation... Einstein's interpretation. Gravimotion's interpretation Local Home Page: Home and Site map Beware this is not physics! If you "landed" directly (from a search engine) onto this page, this site introduces an alternative to physics that makes sense, the Gravimotion theory.Where as motion does not exist in physics (as explained below) motion is integral part of the gravimotion theory. Motion in the Gravimotion theoryIn the gravimotion theory the motion of an object is an occurence that has its own existence with respect to the object that it moves.A motion that has its own characteristics, is actually linked or harnessed to the object it moves and performs both translations of itself and the object. In the gravimotion theory, motion is the fundamental (and sole) ingredient of the universe. In spite of its role and attributes in the Gravimotion theory, motion remains a mystery, just as space and time are in physics! Yet motion is not as controversial as time and space are , motion is physical, time and space are not! Motion in physicsActually motion doesn’t exist in physics:Motion has not been assigned any measuring unit in physics. Speed is a mathematical byproduct (a non physical concept) of the two basics quantities of space and time. Speed is not motion. For Einstein motion is made of "positions in space" as a function of "time" (read Einstein words). Even though closer to motion's literal dictionary definition, this interpretation defines a trajectory, which for our purpose is not motion either. Motion can neither be assimilated to "momentum" nor to "kinetic energy", as these involve mass; and motion is definitely not made of mass. If you're not convinced think about the motion of light that has no mass. Above all, in Einstein's relativity theory, motion can become "an abstraction", the reality of which is ignored in favor of another motion! Motion is not physical in physics! In the gravimotion world just as in reality, motion is real. In physics motion doesn't exist .(period!) |
